I love Terry Spear's Werewolf series so when I saw this new series I just knew I had to read it. I really liked that they were Jaguar shifters and that the story took place in the rainforest. The change of scenery from urban America to the jungle of Colombia was a welcome change in the shifter genre. Spear's writing was so descriptive that I could actually see the cats prowling around protecting their territory. I loved Connor and his sister, Maya. They're both looking for mates, but don't know if there are any other jaguar shifters. During an annual vacation, Connor finds the perfect woman for himself, but she is just a regular human unless Maya can do something about that. While trying to figure out mating urges they must also contend with natives and drug cartels. I read the book in two sittings and can't wait for the next book.
