Election

O.K. so the election is still 2 years (or 648 days) away, but I've been thinking about everyone that's in the race so far. I'm not sure how close people are paying attention yet; there are some really good people in the race. I'm excited to see who will be the front runner. But my question to you is, is the country ready for a woman? Or a black man? I personaly am ready for both. Of course I'm loving Mrs. Clinton( any Clinton is wonderful to me!), but I LOVE Obama. Can you belive I'm already watching the race!

Stop Snowing

So, it's that time of the season. It's snowing a little bit, which to me is just awful. I simply hate the stuff. I need to live somewhere where it never snows and stays above 70. Since I'm still so new to this blog stuff, you're going to have to keep checking back with me. I've been adding new links to the bottom for you to check out. They're just a few places that are important to me. It's interesting what your links say about a person. I think mine are pretty much all over the place. If you have any cool links let me know.

Wow, My First Blog.

Wow, my first blog. I feel so cool. I decided to start a blog so I can keep up with my friends now that I have friends around the world. I am also hoping to keep up with my family.

So, I've started my classes finally. Two classes is all I started with this time. English Comp, which is easy, and Intro to American Politics. Of course the class workbook is called "Discovering Politics in Your Own Life" which has nothing to do with American Politics per se.

I am also planning my summer vacation to New Orleans. I've been once, but it was during Mardi Gra. Which is a whole 'nother story! I'm going for food, the music, the fun, but I'm also going to check out the Katrina disaster. See if I can help in any way.

I'm also planning a trip to South Africa. I'm planning to intern with CrossCultureSolutions for 6-12 weeks (I haven't decided exactly how long YET). Working with people with HIV/AIDS and empowering women in Capetown. Then when I'm finished with that, I'm going to stay with a friend who lives in Pretoria. I don't know how long I'll be staying there, maybe thru winter!

Well, thanks for reading my blog. Keep checking back.
