Lady Alexa is a woman who hates the double standards that are put in place by the Ton and she has no problem telling them what she thinks, especially Connor Linsley. After a few quick meetings and shared kisses they find themselves on the run and trying to figure out who is trying to ruin Connor. What follows them on their journey is the undeniable attraction they have for each other and the unwanted feelings. Aided by friends they fight to figure out what Lady Luck has in store for them.
This was my first book by Cara Elliott and it won't be my last. Her quick and witty dialogue had me burning through the book to see what Alexa would do next. Alexa and Connor where a perfect match for each other and their friends were just as great. I can't wait to read more.
