Foundation of Love by Scotty Cade & Z.B. Marshall

3/5 stars

I just didn't feel this one which is a shame cause I really liked the others in this series. I thought this story started so slow, I mean I understand the authors were just trying to establish the way Wes lived his life, but it was kinda boring. Even though we met Ty fairly early in the story and he's the main love interest, he doesn't really play that big a part in the story. Only one chapter is in his POV and it was about the scenery. The majority of the story is about Alicia, who is in love with Wes and is very annoying. The story seemed rushed on the romance and fell flat. I did like seeing Brad and Mac (Wings of Love) again.

All Bets Are Off by Marguerite Labbe

4.5/5 stars

This was a really great story about a professor who falls for his student, granted the relationship starts before they realize that they will be in the same class and facing each other every week. When Eli, the professor, decides that they can't have some hot affair that could potentially ruin his career Ash readily agrees, though they stay friends. What starts off as intense lust builds into a lasting friendship then into love. There's also a bit of a mystery thrown in that helps the story along.

I really liked these two characters together as they played nicely off each other. The sexual tension between the two was pretty hot as was the sex. Even the secondary characters were well written. I would recommend this book to lovers of m/m romance that likes the build-up to a sweet romance.

Love Means...Family by Andrew Grey

5/5 stars

This was a really good addition to the Farm series. Arie was definitely in need a a little TLC and what better place to get it then with our friends at the farm? His story was so full of heartbreak from the beginning that you just wanted to surround him with love and understanding. Thankfully Duane was there to help him and provided him with exactly what he needed. Though Duane wasn't without his own need for comfort and Arie came around at the perfect time. Giving these two a happily ever after was just the icing on the cake.

As always with Mr. Grey's writing, he delivered a believable couple and a wonderful story full of beautiful friends and family. I hope there will be many more books in this series. I can't recommend this book enough, but to get the full experience it should be read in order with the rest of the series.

His Secret Past by Katie Reus

3/5 stars

I really liked this book. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love stories where a lost love comes back and gets all mixed up in the MC's life. And add in a kid and it only gets better. That's what happened here, Hunter pops up in Alexis and their son's life out of the blue and rescues them from an assignation attempt forcing them to go on the run to stay alive. Of course their feelings for each other resurface and along with fighting an unknown enemy they must fight their love that they are not really ready for after six years apart.

This was the first book by Ms. Reus that I've read, but if her other books are even half as good as this one, I'll be reading a lot more of her in the future. I love romantic suspenseful books and this one definitely fits that bill.

Wow, it's been awhile since I've blogged. I've been without a computer and now trying to organize everything. Hopefully, I'll be back to blogging regularly again.
