 This book brought out so many emotions in me while I was reading it. There was disgust, not for the book or the writing, but because of some of the actions of a few characters. Sadness was the emotion I felt the most of as the book opened to a very sad exchange between husband and wife followed by more sadness with the hospital. Will and Sara were also dealing with feelings that were depressing, but very much needed. Happy wasn't something I felt a lot of while reading this, but there were a few times when it came up. Relief was felt as I finished because I could then go back and buy the first six books of the series. As per my usual habit, I picked up this without having read any of the Will Trent or Sara Tipton series beforehand and while it would've made the book a 5 star rating if i had due to the fact all the characters had been central figures in past books, I had no problem following along. I highly recommend this book, but be aware that it's very dark at times and there are parts describing non- consentual sex.

I love Kristen Ashley and have loved every one of her books that I've read so far, but I wasn't as excited by this book. It might be because I never warmed up to either character. Lanie was always the dumb bitch that followed her equally dumb ass boyfriend who was on the run from the mob. I've watched enough movies and read enough books to know that dealing with the mob in any fashion is a huge fucking mistake. And for some reason I always pictures Hop as an older overweight biker, so imagine my surprise to find out he was a tight hot guy who's just misunderstood. There also wasn't really anything going on but sex and fighting. Where was the kidnapping, the bad guys doing bad guy stuff, the gunfights and explosions? Granted there was a tiny gunfight (that had already been dealt with in the last book) and Benito's guys showed up for a couple paragraphs, but the usual KA drama wasn't there. Hopefully in the next book we'll get the over-the-top drama that I've come to relate to Ms. Ashley. Will I recommend this book? Absolutely. Will I read it again? Probably not, cause there are too many other KA books that are much better. At this point all the guys are starting to run together (they all look alike, talk alike and act alike) while the ladies are nice, polite, put together. Where are the crazy ladies like the Rock Chicks?

Loved this book, the second in the Bodywalker series. It picked up just a couple weeks after the first book, Forbidden, left off. I liked Jackson from the beginning and was excited that he got his own book, but he had such a strong presence and an unwavering sense of duty that he had to get his own book. Marissa was great too. The attraction they had for each other was like a living breathing thing that exploded off the page. I can't wait til the next book to see where they're headed in this war that they are caught up in and see how along with Ramses, Docia and Leo they fight this new enemy.

I've loved pretty much every book the very talented Ms. Frank has written and I'm glad to see that this series continues with Leo's story. I'm also really curious to see if the characters from the other Nightwalkers will pop up in any future books since they read the prophecy too. I tried reading this book before I had read Forbidden and didn't think I would've had problems with it, but quickly set it aside to read Forbidden first. Glad I did so that I had a better understanding about how the Bodywalkers worked. Highly recommend this series.

I'm giving this book 3.5 stars because it wasn't what I was expecting. I seriously thought it was a m/m romance! I mean, look at the cover....sexy manly chest. Okay, now read the description. No where in that description was the pronoun she or even he for that matter. The main characters name's are Jason and Mac. I read about 20% before I realized that Mac was a woman! I kept reading it though because it captured my interest and I don't read very many books set in Australia. Jason was definitely the strong silent chunky type of man that I love reading about and always want more of. Mac, whose real name is Willow Macintosh, was the very inexperienced virgin (never been kissed either). She was shy and sweet and seemed almost backwards at times. The building of their relationship wasn't rushed although out of six weeks they only spent a part of that together. Overall, it was an enjoyable book....even if it was completely different then I was expecting. So, I guess the low rating is my fault and has nothing to do with the story itself. I think the description needs to be rewritten.

Bite Me (London Undead #1) by PJ Schnyder

Maisie can't help but admit that she's attracted to her werewolf rescuer. She's drawn to Seth's strength and ferocity, and finds herself opening up to him in ways she never imagined, even though she's determined to not rely on Seth or anyone else. She doesn't want another person to get hurt—or die—for her sake. She has enough scars, physical and emotional, from the last time…

But when Seth realizes something is drawing the zombies to Maisie, there may be nothing he can do to save her…

This was a great start to what is going to be a hellva series. We had humans and werewolves fighting together against zombies and were-cats and the fae were mentioned too. The story is set in what I'm assuming is present-day London were the military has set up barricades keeping the zombies in the city. Seth is the local pack alpha and while on patrol comes across a human woman, Maisie, shooting a horde of zombies and trying to keep a family safe. From that point on we learn the zombies are changing their methods of hunting and Seth and his pack are trying to find out why. Maisie and Seth also share a few stolen moments to romance each other here and there. I liked the characters that were introduced so far and can't wait to see where they're headed. I pretty much devoured this in one setting since it wasn't that long and I can only hope the next book will be a little longer. Highly recommend.

Heather Graham writes one hell of a ghost story. I didn't guess who the bad guy was at all. I mean, of course I had my suspicions, but then I rule them out and try again. So, when the bad guy was revealed I was pleasantly surprised.

The book is set in a small town in Arizona that is an Old West attraction with several reputed ghost sittings. The town sheriff is called to a case involving one of the towns most famous ghost and calls his friend, Logan Raintree, for help. Logan sends in his forensic artist, Jane, to help and ends up solving not just their present case, but also a case over 100 years old. Of course the sparks between Sloan and Jane were hot enough to scorch the pages or short out my e-reader.

The only thing I didn't care for was after the bad guy reveal it wrapped up to quickly. I can't wait to read more of this series and really wished Ms. Graham would write them as fast as I can read them. Wrote as part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone. Recommend to readers who enjoy a little ghost action with their romance.

I think this has been my favorite of the series so far.  Nate was the perfect wounded angel and did a great job of bridging the books so far with the little computer conferences with the other angels.  Some of those angels we've met and some I hope we meet soon (the guy in Boston!).  I wasn't too sure about Ella at first just because she was so sketchy to begin with, but after learning her back story, I firmly believe she had every right to be so secretive.  I liked the two together and hope to see a little more of them in the future.
